Optics Rotation Fall 2004 - Spectral Interferometry - Matthias Riedmann
Spectral Interferometry
The task was to align and callibrate an interferometer to determine the relative
phase between two pulsed lasers. The interfered
pulse leaving the interferometer was detected by an ocean optics HR4000 spectrometer.
The phase was afterwards determined using a LabView program. The results are compared
to that obtained by an autocorrelation method (FROG) which is used in the group for
the same purpose.
Aknowledgements
Thanks to Tom Weinacht for offering that interesting project, to his group, especially
Florian Langhojer, for the help and discussions.
