 Term paper [562 only]:

HW will be collected  in  class on Friday  following  the week in which it is assigned,  and it will be graded. PHY562 students will solve more and/or  more challenging problems. You may  work  together on solving the problems,  but cannot hand in the  same solutions.  Solutions  will be posted after  the homework   is collected. Therefore, late papers will NOT be accepted.
 

Grading:
PHY452:  HW 30%, Midterm Exam 30%, Final Exam  40%
PHY562:  HW 30%, Midterm Exam 20%, Final Exam 35%, Term paper 15%
